Description:
Project Director - Responsibilities include overall project management, supervision of the development team, requirements definitions, management of relationship with DCA, and usability and deployment support (approximately 50% time). Candidate should have 3 - 5 years of project management experience. The project management tasks will include: 1. Setup of an IBM iSeries (AS/400) computer with LANSA/RAMP software and DCA sample data for development and initial developer training. 2. Overarching requirements definition to specify the look and feel of the interface, coding standards, configuration management requirements, and other development standards. 3. For each functional category listed above, development will require: a. Specific requirements definition to include design of individual screens, identification of data elements required, where to input these elements into the underlying MST system, and definintion of a Test Plan to verify the accuracy of the data, both within the interface and within the underlying MST system. b. Development of the individual screens and code necessary to capture data and enter it into the MST system. c. Testing to verify and validate that the newly developed interface works as designed. d. Rollout Plan, to include migration to the Production machine, training, and documentation. e. Maintenance Plan for updating the sytem as new requirements are identififed (or imposed by HUD), system changes are made by MST, or other issues are identified.
